 HonorAir is pleased to announce that a reunion for the WWII veterans, their families, and all guardians will be held on Saturday, October 11, 2008 from 2pm-5pm.
The reunion will be held at on Main Street in front of the Old Courthouse and will feature special 40’s music, opportunities for veterans to mingle, and other surprise entertainment. All veterans, including those who did not participate in HonorAir, as well as the the general public are invited to participate and show their respect for this, The Greatest Generation. HonorAir was formed in 2006 to to escort local WWII veterans to Washington, D.C. to visit the WWII memorial, as well as the Korean War Veterans and Vietnam Veterans Memorials and the Arlington National Cemetery.
